God's Encouraging Presence

It’s undeniable that God will never leave or forsake His children, believers in Christ, as the journey in this world becomes more treacherous and heartbreaking. 


Yet discouragement, uncertainty and hopelessness can arise in Christians just as they would in non-believers; such needs became a suggested calling in the quiet prayer time of author Carol S. Lewis over the course of three decades. 


God prompted her to write down His messages during this time, and what bloomed from these writings became God’s Encouraging Presence, a collection of devotional messages focused on the needs of believers in difficult times. 


The messages center around selected key words that focus on certain needs, drawing the connections between what God expresses of the needs in the Bible and how the scriptural truths will alleviate those needs in believers. 


Sections are made within the book to cater to specific needs for individuals (To My Sons & Daughters), to church leaders (To My Shepherds) and to the collective Body of Christ (To My church). 


Among the themed messages of the book are thoughts and biblical wisdom for direction, God’s voice, discovering spiritual gifts and overcoming challenges/issues as a married couple. 


Each message is shaped to epitomize an intimate conversation with the Heavenly Father, mirroring that of the book’s origins from Carol’s quiet time with God. Her words effortlessly blend scripture truths with logical insight on circumstances today to present encouraging words that will reach deep into the hearts of readers. 


God’s Encouraging Presence will represent the realization that God is always present when believers are in need of Him for answers, discernment and a peaceful touch. 


The journey in life is worth more than the destination, but God’s encouragement is what makes the journey keep moving forward.
