Celeste Bonacoeur here of Celeste's Bests. I'm in Erie Cove, NC to find the secret of why people flock here for the Halloween holiday. I hope I find the answer soon because the less time I spend around these odd people, the better. Worst of all, no one seems to care at all that I'm here.

After a rough day I head to a local bar and find myself in bed with a man dressed as a grim reaper. People in this town take Halloween way too seriously. In the light of day I realize he's not just dressed as a grim reaper, he actually is a grim reaper.

All I wanted was a vacation. Is it too much to ask after centuries of working day and night for a few days to myself? Too bad the rest of the supernatural world didn't get the message. The last thing I wanted to do was get in a pissing contest with a demon over Celeste Bonacouer, but he felt entitled and went to far trying to stick his tail . . . doesn't matter.

I know the rules and I broke protocol saving her form him. Now, Death, my master said I have to find a way to make her fall in love with me in less than forty-eight hours or it will be the end of us both. If I can't convince her to be my bride on Halloween night I'll turn into a statue in the cemetery and she'll spend eternity as a sex slave to a demon.
