Hide and Seek

Blythe Winslow is a successful book editor at a small publishing company. At twenty-six, her life seems to be back on track after a college relationship ended on a sour note. After three years of waiting for the other shoe to drop, her stalker ex-fiancé, Leo Kingsley, reappears and picks up their game of hide and seek.

Dane Hawksley owns a small cafe, Caffeinated, enjoying a more peaceful existence after time in the Air Force's Special Warfare Unit. Dane is familiar with protecting high-value assets, and there isn't a higher-value asset than Blythe. Sparks fly when he proposes a fake relationship as a solution to keep tabs on Leo, while also keeping a watchful eye on his best friend's baby sister.

As Leo increases the stakes, Blythe is forced to rely on Dane to keep her safe. As their attraction for each other grows, Dane and Blythe must decide if the risk is worth the reward. Will they survive Leo's game and find love in the process?
