Mackey v. Spradlin

On May 23, 1992, the defendant returned home after a trip with his wife. While they were away, the wifes eight-year-old son (the defendants stepson) was caught attempting to engage in sexual activity with a neighbors child. When questioned about the incident, the eight-year-old stated that he had been doing what the defendant did to him. The boy told his mother that on one occasion when he was left alone at home with the defendant, the defendant made him watch an "X-rated" video tape. The defendant then forcibly engaged in anal intercourse with the child.
