They’re people like Greye. And Anna. And Sydney and Nika. All friends, all people who go to Borah High with Airel. Airel used to be one of them, trapped in the uncomplaining backdrop. 

 

But there’s something different about Airel Cross now, and people like Greye are beginning to notice. It’s undeniable, like a clouded sunrise, and it’s no use concealing the inevitable. 

 

These four girls, Greye and Nika, Anna and Sydney: each have a story to tell. They are The Vincibles, and their time is short.
