Publisher Description

Texas Employers Insurance Association (TEIA) appeals from a judgment rendered on a jury verdict awarding plaintiff Roman Guerrero workers compensation benefits for total and permanent disability. TEIAs complaints fall into three categories: (1) sufficiency of the evidence, (2) submission of issues regarding the adequacy and timeliness of Guerreros notice of injury and claim for compensation, and (3) jury argument. We reverse and remand for a new trial.
