The Time Snatcher

Time Patrolman Brek Halliday is hurled into the late nineteenth-century American frontier on a desperate mission: stop the dangerous time criminal Jon Sagginer, rescue Brek's kidnapped colleague Dori Clayton, and keep history from being rewritten. Briefed, trained, and disguised in authentic Old West clothing, he arrives in Plata City, New Mexico, armed with futuristic six-guns built to pass for period weapons and a fierce personal resolve. Posing as an ordinary gunslinger, Brek slips into a town already shaped by the influence of John Sager and his armed deputies. A tense saloon showdown tests his nerve when the sheriff demands he surrender his pistols, but Brek's cool wit and lightning-fast reflexes turn the confrontation in his favor. He disarms an attacker without taking a life, knowing that even one death could alter the future. Impressed by his restraint, the sheriff strips the reckless deputy of his badge and invites Brek—now using the alias Ed Calhoun—deeper into the town's power structure, where the hunt for Sagginer continues amid the hazards of law, violence, and time itself.
