The plague killed billions and changed others into something new.

Captain Lawson knows what it takes to stay alive. As one of the few who are immune to the airborne pathogen responsible for wiping out most of humanity, he quickly learns how to fight against those who were transformed. When he and his nomadic group of survivors encounter a mysterious woman the Captain finds himself both drawn to, and repelled by, the woman. Suspicious of her sudden appearance, but eager to add another healthy woman to his group, he finds himself making a decision that will change their lives forever.
