In this appeal, Lynda Sue Hancock seeks to overturn an adverse jury verdict in favor of the defendants in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. The primary issues are (1) whether the defendants explanation for their use of peremptory strikes to exclude two black prospective jurors was sufficient to overcome the plaintiffs prima facie case of intentional discrimination; (2) whether the district court erred in excluding the affidavit of an expert witness offered by the plaintiff in opposition to the motion for summary judgment of the defendant, City of Marietta ("the City"); and (3) whether it was error to admit into evidence Hancocks history of psychiatric treatment. We affirm the judgment of the district court.
