Publisher Description
A jury found appellant guilty of burglary of a habitation and assessed forty years. The Second Court of Appeals (Fort Worth) affirmed in an unpublished opinion, holding, among other things, that appellant had no reasonable expectation of privacy in an automobile which the police searched, and thus had no standing to litigate the lawfulness of the search. Wilson v. State, No. 2-83-275-CR, delivered August 31, 1983. We granted appellants petition for discretionary review to examine that holding.
