WINT Radio, Inc. brought an action against Vantage to recover on a promissory note for which, WINT alleged, Vantage was in default on its payments. Vantage answered and raised affirmative defenses and retain Baxley to handle its defense. Shortly thereafter, Baxley stipulated with opposing counsel to an amount due on the note. A final judgment was subsequently entered in favor of plaintiff for the stipulated amount plus interests, costs, and attorneys fees.
