Abbadona

Dana Williams felt his life was a failure but that it was not his fault. He saw the world as being against him for no reason he could understand. He had tried becoming a priest in the Episcopal church, tried marriage and tried children. It always seemed easier to run than to face the disappointments. Even preparing for a a hunting trip with his children left him lost. But, when he stumbles into an ancient mansion that holds an even more ancient fiend, he finds he can no longer simply run. Forced to stay near that fiend, he comes to realize that vampires do exist, and he has found one that does not fit the normal fantasies. As they struggle to understand each other, they begin to find a path that gives both of them hope for their futures.
