Publisher Description
The chickens are clucking and the cows are mooing, in this fun rhyming picture e-book... it's a very noisy day on this farm, until bedtime comes and the farmyard is quiet. With a simple, engaging story, this is the perfect animal sounds book for toddlers.
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
On the heels of Animal Numbers, published in June, comes a playful rundown of animal sounds, which briskly takes readers through a day on a farm. Flintham describes each noise in jaunty rhymes ("The donkeys clip-clop through the door,/ calling out, Eeyore, eeyore' "), but the real star of the show is the artwork the flattened cartoon farmscapes almost vibrate, thanks to Flintham's in-your-face color choices (purple-and-white cows moo and chew in a hot pink meadow, while two royal blue horses gallop across another spread under a white sky dotted with magenta clouds). Bursting with energy, this board book offers a memorable trip to a farm with a modern sensibility. Ages 1 4.
