Kelly Hames is 40. Well, practically 39. Okay, fine. 40. Anyway, she still looks fine—dyes the grays, flosses, exercises to keep the fat at bay. And she’s successful. And smart. No reason not be living life to the fullest. So why does she find herself home alone night after night, eating takeout Chinese and watching something vapid on TV? The good news is it’s not too late to change. On a whim and a drink—okay, maybe a few drinks—she books herself onto a “clothing optional” cruise, with a pool and a sun deck and a handsome smiling bartender who can’t quite seem to take his eyes off of her . . .
