“Copenhageners”


The purpose of the booklet-series ”Copenhageners” is first and foremost to show the Copenhageners, when they are by themselves, unattended and private – in various situations and on various locations in Copenhagen.


Copenhagen is a very charming city. A lot of things contribute in their own way to make Copenhagen so inviting.


Although in the first place it might be a little hard to get to know the citizens, the Copenhageners are significant contributors to the special atmosphere and character of the city. 


The Copenhageners can look busy and reserved, but on the other hand if you approach them directly, you will find, that kindness and a smile are hidden immediately below the surface.


Among other things it means, that Copenhagen is a very meaningful place to practice street photography. You seldom meet people who mind that you are photographing them, and should you happen to meet a person not looking to happy about it, you’ll get far with a smile and a thank you.
