DOG TALES

This is a collection of 57 tales about dogs.  When I got to 57, my wife said publish the book and send it off to Heinz!  Heinz did not pick it up, but there have been several editions including a translation into German.  It is a comprehensive collection and each tale has notes about its origin. Now also available in podcasts told by the author.  Mostly collected in the Appalachian mountains of Kentucky and North Carolina.  Watch out, many of these dogs have tall tails!  JMR
