Don Quixote

First published in two parts (1605 and 1615), Don Quixote is widely regarded as one of the greatest works of world literature. The novel follows Alonso Quixano, a country gentleman who, inspired by tales of chivalry, renames himself Don Quixote and sets out to revive knighthood and defend the helpless.
