East Quests

Three single women, nerdy Quilla Lane, pudgy self-conscious Kate McKay, and sophisticate June Delbroook are travelling from Winnipeg Manitoba to Newfoundland. Each woman has her own personal need to go east to fulfill her quest. Quilla has just learned that she has a twin in Newfoundland and her friends have offered to go with her to find him.Though both Kate and June are Quilla’s friends, they are not friendly toward each other. Animosity has become a fourth passenger on their car trip.
They will be together for thirty-one days as they travel the twists and turns of the road and of nature. They encounter wild animals, hurricanes, wind tossed ocean waves and sunshine. At times humor joins the ladies in their travels. They will also travel the much muddier and difficult terrain of establishing workable relationships.
There will be laughter and tears, fun and fears, a hint of romance, and a lot of adventure as they take in the beauty of Canada and fulfill their quests in the east.
