Garden-Craft Old and New

Garden-Craft Old and New was written by J. D. Sedding, a prominent church architect of the late 19th century. While Sedding's work on Gothic-style churches was influential, his 1889 lecture "The Architectural Treatment of Gardens" made his name in history, especially in regard to the Arts and Crafts Movement. This 1891 volume gained great popularity and respect following the lecture.
