Global Geoparks of China

With a view to protect precious geo-relics and popularise earth science knowledge, and to promote social and economic sustainability through geo-tourism, the UNESCO established the Global Geopark Network in 2004. It formed an important platform to strengthen the collaboration with experts and peers, as well as constructive exchange of knowledge. It benefits geopark professionals and enrich their planning and management experience.
