Why hello there! Yes, that’s right, you. Since you’re reading this, there’s probably some interest to understand what this story is about. Oruaural’s scribe Ernest, advised Oruaural that one of the best ways to ginny up interest for a story is an introduction. Of course, Oruaural is breaking the fourth wall with our conversation, and speaking in third person too! But as an incarnation of madness, perhaps that helps us all understand each other better. This story is about how Oruaural became what Oruaural is now. Earth has many odd stories of odd things done by odd people. So are we all, in the telling. Except it’s not Earth. Such as how technology meets magic or how even while ruling over the Shifting Stones, Oruaural is also Ekallr’s servant. Whether that hurts or helps with generating interest is up to you now.


This story has charcoal-eating soldiers made of living bronze, asteroids covered with plants floating in a giant bubble of atmosphere, flying airships that mimic whales streaming lightning, and that’s just the Shifting Stones! What Ernest didn’t know was how he related to the Prognostication of the Golden Transmogrification. Perhaps we’ll figure that out before he did!


The prophecy also meant he needed to be flung through space and time at the speed of light. For Ernest to find help for Oruaural. So these agents could take action against evil, where and when Oruaural wasn’t.
