Heritage E-STEM Scientific Journal
InSciEd Out Student Scientific Posters 2016-17
Publisher Description
As part of a collaboration with The Mayo Clinic and the University of Minnesota College of Biological Sciences, students at Heritage E-STEM Magnet School participate in the InSciEd Out Program by conducting original scientific research projects. The incorporation of ‘real science’ presents students with real life problem solving experiences. These multi-disciplinary learning projects challenge students to develop research questions, plan and experiment to test their hypothesis, conduct scientific research, collect data, and publish their results. This book contains a sample of the interactive scientific posters that students presented to their peers, parents, and community members.
