Highland Park

A trio of mid-20s friends meet at a hip neighborhood in Los Angeles. One of the three is a longtime L.A. resident; the other two are a visiting couple. The statue known as Chicken Boy soon becomes the focus of the day. An artsy fourth person triggers suspicion, intrigue, and lust. (1500 words)
