Leon Muller's rise has been meteoric to become the most powerful individual in all Hungary, his army the most feared fighting force in the whole Balkans. Thanks to his efforts there is peace in Hungary and his friends now occupy positions of power in the kingdom. But success on the battlefield does not translate into gratitude but rather jealously and resentment. 'Homeland' sees Leon embark on his most daring and brilliant campaign yet to relieve the home of King Matthias and punish Vlad Dracula. But it has unforeseen consequences, prompting him to turn his gaze to a land he has not seen in years.

'Homeland' is the final volume in the Alpine Warrior series, the story of Swiss mercenary Leon Muller in the wars of the 15th Century when Europe was riven by civil, religious, dynastic and imperial conflicts.
