May Days In Spain

Four friends from California travel by car to picturesque cities in Spain in May 2012. After a stimulating academic conference on Chicano Literature in the medieval city of Toledo, they visit Burgos, Aranda del Duero, Bilbao, San Sebastián, and cross the French border to Bayonne.

     Highlights include the stunning exhibit of paintings by David Hockney at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, the sparkling beach at San Sebastián, and frothy hot chocolate in the famous Cazenave chocolate shop in Bayonne. 

     The pictures, videos, and stories in this book highlight the delicious food, wine, and sights enjoyed in these memorable ten days in central and northern Spain.
