Molly's Story & Jade The Cat

While growing up, I lived in a variety of homes in various locations. We moved around a lot and traveled a lot as well. It seemed I was always the child who moved away. Some of my friends in each place lived in the same neighborhood during all of their growing up years. I have never known what this would have been like. This children’s story is about adjusting to a new place. I found it difficult to adjust when we first moved. The story reflects this period of adjustment. Molly would always rather be in her previous location until she finally decides she likes her present one. Then in the afterword story, as a young adult she adopts a cat whom she names Jade who also needs a place to stay. I have used drawings from childhood as well as later drawings to portray the characters.
