Odd Weather

Extreme weather events are happening across the globe. Communities damaged by fireballs, boiling rain that cooks people alive, villages and their inhabitants frozen in ice. In N2K headquarters, Crocker's team are called upon to discover what's happening, and why.

Harriet Lewis – known to all just as Harry – is probably the best hacker on planet earth. She is, however, struggling with a work overload. After watching him resolve a security issue, she employs Nick Matthews as an assistant. But Nick has a past that he wants kept secret, particularly from his new boss. Unexpectedly, he finds himself, along with his estranged father, playing a pivotal role in the Odd Weather story.

Finn Wheeler, meanwhile, is becoming increasingly frustrated by his lack of progress as he attempts to revenge himself on the one person who he believes made him what he is – a misfit and a social outcast. In his ignorance, he has little idea of the global chaos he is causing, or its possible catastrophic consequences.

Other countries are now blaming Britain for these disasters and time is not on Britain's side. Can they track him down before it's too late? And what's the relevance of the mysterious mask that Nick's cousin brought back from Africa? It's all going to take some sorting out, so best you read on…
