Pit the Little Flea

What does a flea have to do with music? A lot!


Pit, the little flea lives on Rex, the German shepherd dog. He loves it when there is music being played in the concert hall next door. He would like to watch and find out where, with what, by whom, and most of all how, music is created. And one day this dream comes true for Pit.

Pit smuggles himself into the concert hall and can hardly believe his eyes. Everything is so gigantic. Accidentally, he lands inside the grand piano. There he meets Tara, a tiny spider. She knows her way around in the world of musical instruments. Since both are so small, they have a special way of exploring the inner life of the grand piano. They become good friends, experience a lot of exciting adventures, and in the end they even shake a leg together!


From hammers to dampers, from pedals to piano strings—after this exciting day Pit and the reader have both become experts in the inner workings of the grand piano.
