This book is for, firstly, the African people and, secondly, those who are concerned about the suffering of the poor peoples of the earth. In Pope Francis, Hero of Africa, Jerry Jumbam discusses the hostility of some people to Pope Francis (especially in Church circles) as a result of ignorance of the background of the Pope and of who he represents on a global scale.
