As a Ph.D. student at the University of Cape Town's Centre for African Studies, as well as a Visiting Scholar in the Department of African American Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, Natasha's interests include African literature, language and translation, knowledge production, postcolonial literature/studies, popular culture, and Diaspora studies. She is currently in Nairobi working on her dissertation, entitled "Ngugi's Language Project: Translation as Conversation." Danai Mupotsa is a feminist researcher. She is currently based at the department of Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies, Monash South Africa. She completed a Masters Degree at the African Gender Institute in 2007 and intends on pursuing her doctoral studies. Her doctoral research intends to investigate "culture," body politics, sexuality, and the construction of "the nation."
