Rules in Defiance

A disturbed criminal wants to destroy her life.

After her colleague’s brutal murder, Dr. Waylynn Hargraves’s past makes her a suspect, but Blackhawk Security investigator Elliot Dunham is certain she’s innocent.

Waking up drugged beside the body with no memory of the night, Waylynn finds herself framed with a forged confession. To shield his sharp-minded neighbor from an arrest, Elliot retreats to his isolated woodland cabin outside Anchorage, putting his hard-won survival instincts between her and prison.

Yet safety remains elusive when an arsonist torches her laboratory to ash, wiping out ten years of groundbreaking trials on the warrior gene. With an elusive sniper tracking their every move through the Alaskan wilderness, staying alive means unraveling a conspiracy rooted deep inside her own company.

When Waylynn’s research reveals she faces a danger worse than being framed, Elliot will defy all of the rules he’s set for himself in order to protect Waylynn from the killer who is stalking her.

Can Elliot keep his brilliant neighbor alive when an unseen predator closes in on their Alaskan hideout?
