When Travis's best friend hooked up with a woman and moved away, life on the Sunshine Coast just didn't have the same appeal. So, he went on a road trip to visit. He expected to have a great holiday with his mate. He didn't expect to encounter a weird cat lady, a broken car, or to clash with the woman next door.

Finley has been sisters in solitude with her neighbour for over a decade. That is until her neighbour comes home from her fortieth birthday holiday with a bloke following soon after. Finley—with her collection of cats—feels like her life is going nowhere and takes action to change that.
