It’s lunar week and Phelan Cavello is in New York, miles away from his old life in Canada. But as much as some things change, like him and his life, they also remain the same, a werewolf in New York is not a new sight. But a familiar face appearing in his life again, in the all grown up, womanly shape of Peyton Desiare.
Peyton was the girl that got away, the one that crushed his heart and ruined him for anyone else, now, she’s his lawyer.

Peyton and Phelan have a lot of catching up to do, this time he won’t be chased away from Peyton so easily. Not when he knows exactly what his heart desires.
But Phelan’s never had a particularly easy life, and just as he glimpses happiness, life strikes at him and those closest to him, turning everything upside down.
