The Matador's Parrot

In the aftermath of the Bâtaclan terrorist attacks in Paris, the city is placed in a state of emergency. Like many others, Josh, an expatriate American married to a Frenchman, struggles unsuccessfully with PTSD. He is adrift in an unrecognizable world of fear. This is the story of Josh's awakening sense of self and his self-discoveries, from real love to reconciliation with a capriciously brutal world.
