The Meaning of Wife

Jessica Farmer is twenty-nine years old and has been happily married for seven years. Well educated and relatively wealthy, she appears to have everything any woman could possibly wish for including the respect and admiration of virtually everyone who knows her. Her husband, David, is of the same age, from an extremely wealthy family and is a director of a major local company with a beautiful home and a matching wife to look after it. When Jessica visits her husband's office, she meets his new secretary for the first time and finds her to be very attractive, so much so that she offers to take her to lunch. When the offer is accepted, the young woman is overwhelmed by her more mature and confident companion and five weeks of chaos begin.
