Last January, I walked off the field with my arm hanging limply by my side.

After months of grueling physical therapy, I have recovered the ability to throw a perfect spiral, and while my body is ready for the upcoming season, I can't seem to shake the lingering fear that no matter how good I am, it won't be enough.

When my agent calls and tries to convince me to star in an Annabelle Singer docuseries, I quickly decline. With training camp looming, I refuse to allow anything to distract me from preparing to lead the Fire Hawks to our first ever championship.
