Veterinary technician Valerie Connor longs for love, but as hard as she tries, her relationships never last. She’s there to teach and learn to live a stable, peaceful life. But she’s just gotten clean after hitting rock bottom, and nothing is more important than staying clean, not even love.

 

 When a stable of horses is threatened, Val and Ronnie must work together against the odds to save them, and maybe even themselves, along the way.
