Over a year since her last encounter with Evan, Cammy has set up a new life for her and her daughter in a remote town, far away from the wizard.  Hopefully he'll never find them.  It would be even better if he didn't want to bother looking.

But one evening her dreams of a peaceful life are dashed when he shows up once more on her doorstep.  The next thing she knows the three of them are on a road trip, heading for the place Evan's master calls home.
