A+ Academics at Home

At-home education comes in numerous formats with many different names: distance education, online learning, e-learning, blended learning, remote learning, correspondence, distributed learning, homeschooling, and the list continues. No matter what you like to call it, all of these education models have one thing in common: they require a more independent approach than a traditional classroom. This book outlines some simple techniques and strategies to help high school/college/university students succeed in this self-directed environment.



About the Author: Nadya has a history of academic success in both distanced and in-class environments. Her early education background included a mixture of distance, public and private education, while always maintaining a high academic standard. She went on to graduate from Sheridan’s Music Theatre - Performance program with the Silver Medal of Academic Excellence. She then furthered her studies and acquired an MA in Music Theatre with distinction from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. As someone who has experienced and succeeded within a variety of learning methods, Nadya has some unique insight on how to approach what is a new challenge for many students. She attributes much of her academic success to the study techniques she learned while learning from home and she looks forward to helping those who are embarking on this journey for the first time.
