What might you see and do on such a trip?  This book is a trip journal 

documenting one persons experience taking a five-day trip on Amtrak from San Diego, 

California, to Worcester, Massachusetts.  This is not a tour book nor should it be

considered an authority on train travel.  Rather, it documents one persons

experiences and surprises on a fascinating trip.
