Capillaroscopy

This is the first written manual on capillaroscopy in Ecuador and the second in Latin America; the first was published by Dr. Maria Leticia Sormani, an Argentine Rheumatologist in the year 2000, pioneer of the study indicated in the evaluation of Raynaud's phenomenon and collagenopathies.

On this occasion, a new manual is presented emphasizing the importance of the study, the usefulness of the method in the evaluation of different diseases and integrating a descriptive atlas in the final part. It is essential that the medical community be familiar with this diagnostic procedure and its usefulness being that it is a simple, non-invasive, reliable and reproducible technique.
