Fables

Fables by Aesop is a collection of short moral stories, each designed to impart wisdom or ethical lessons, often through anthropomorphized animals. These fables are some of the earliest examples of storytelling with a didactic purpose, originating from ancient Greece, where Aesop is believed to have lived in the 6th century BCE. Though Aesop himself is a somewhat mysterious figure—little is known about his life—the fables attributed to him have been passed down through the generations, becoming a fundamental part of Western literary tradition.
