Marianne uses her iPhone camera quite a lot. In fact she has been heard calling it a camera that makes phone calls. Now that she has an iPhone 4S, she may be right. She even makes fun of Tom when he carries his bulky cameras.

In any event, she makes an awful lot of photos. We also take an awful lot of road trips, and she sits in the shotgun seat clicking away with her camera – excuse me, iPhone.

This book shows the best of her photos taken from the shotgun seat using the wildly popular hipstamatic app. For those of you who don't use hipstamatic, it is an iPhone app that applies filters to the image during the capture process. Many of us “old school” photographers like to apply changes to an image after it’s been captured, but now millions of iPhone photographers are proving us wrong. We all agree that the best camera is always the one you have with you.

Marianne has taken some wonderful photos using hipstamatic. There are a dozen different categories for chapters that exhibit her skill in using the various lens and film combinations in the application.

Don't we all wish we could do so well. She has a great eye, and this book proves it. You, too can take great photos with your iPhone.
