GIVAN, C.J. Appellant was charged in a four-count indictment with the crimes of Attempted Murder, as defined in I.C. 35-41-5-1 [Burns' 1979] and I.C. 35-42-1-1 [Burns' 1979]. A jury trial resulted in a verdict of guilty on this charge. He was also charged with Unlawful Possession of an Explosive, and two counts of Arson. The jury acquitted him on those charges. Appellant was sentenced to a twenty (20) year term of imprisonment.
