The Atlas Mountains have always demanded the best from those who race on their roads. Now, seven teams return to Morocco's High Atlas range for a two-day, six-stage challenge that will test everything they have learned since the last time they stood at the foot of these mountains.

For Max Rodriguez and his navigator Tank, the return is personal. The memory of a rain-slicked road and a near-catastrophic moment that only François Leapont's reckless courage prevented still lingers. The mountain is the same. Max is not.

For the Li Sisters, the return is an opportunity to correct the one mistake that cost them a podium finish the first time around.
