I've tried damn hard to forget Skylar, but I can't break the hold she has on me, even if she now belongs to another—even if she hates me, and refuses to see that she's getting in deep with the sort of trouble any sane person would stay clear of.  And I may deserve her wrath, but there's no way I'm letting her stay with her evil bastard of a boyfriend.
