In her third book, Vanaja takes readers on a journey to a world of Hindu Mythology. She describes the greatness of Amarakosam, which was written by Amarasinha, a court-poet in the period of King Chandragupta II. It involves all the characters of Hindu Mythological epics.

I am working in a software company. I am unknown to Sanskrit language and the book named ìAmarakosamî. Though forced to read the book, I am fascinated by the contents of book. Madam has explained the slokas in detail. I look forward for other volumes.

Sanskrit is the mother of all languages as all languages worldwide derive many words from this Prakrit bhasha which is ancient language. In fact fortunately for Indians which is the ancient language has become a way of life. The slokas that are being recited while performing our daily worship as also in the mantra that are rendered in observing our rituals from our scriptures which are in Sanskrit. For time immemorial AMARAKOSAM facilitated vedic scholars to comprehend these scriptures meaningfully. Smt. Vanajaís effort in presenting this treatise in series of volumes will serve as a guide to us. I am sanguine she will accomplish the task fully with divine grace.
