In the past years we could observe a revival of virtual communities which had been integrated in companies but now became even popular in a broad field of common usage.
Knowledge networks, virtual communities, and collaboration platforms still work with the same principles as they ever did. So we just need to focus on psychology and let technology support our human need for collaboration.
