In this book, our Italian-American couple traveling to Italy—Carla and Mauro Bianchi—will stop at the Exchange bank at the airport to exchange dollars for Euros. We will learn some facts about Italy through a cultural note; how to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers; role play how to exchange money, use the “Bancomat” (ATM), ask for the time formally and informally; reserve a table and call the operator. We will also learn useful phrases and vocabulary pertinent to these situations.
