Kerr V. Screen Extras Guild Inc‪.‬

Attorney Richard A. Perkins represented Ed Kerr, a union member, in four related actions brought against the Screen Extras Guild, Inc. and certain of its officers for activities prohibited by the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959 (LMRDA), 29 U.S.C. § 401 et seq. The first two actions were eventually resolved in favor of Kerr. Kerr v. Shanks, 466 F.2d 1271 (9th Cir. 1972). On remand to the district court, Perkins was awarded attorney's fees of $20,000 for his efforts in the two cases.
